From Naples to Tennessee

I grew up in Naples, learning by smell and touch in my grandmother’s kitchen, olive oil warm in the pan, basil torn by hand. When my family moved to Tennessee, the ingredients changed, but my love for simple, honest food didn’t. I blended Mediterranean roots with Southern practicality, testing recipes that are bright, affordable, and weeknight-friendly. That mix is the heart of my cooking today.

Why I Started DashOfFlavor

That’s why I started DashOfFlavor , to help bring the nourishment and pleasure of Mediterranean cooking to everyday cooks. You know, all these years I have discovered that one does not need an expensive ingredient or methodically made food to make something taste amazingly delicious and make your body feel good. For me, the power of a few sprays of Sangria vinegar, some Ethiopian-spiced butter, or cold-press olive oil was all it took to make an ordinary dish into something magical, and I want to show you how!
